RIPESS has developed a new logo. In fact, it had become necessary to give a visibility to RIPESS, which would be more coherent, dynamic and more representative of its network status, its missions, and the importance of structuring countries and continents…
Thus, a volunteer from CECI, namely Pierre Cadoret, has during two weeks supported RIPESS in this context. Pierre is working in Canada for the newspaper of the “Coop Fédérée” (http://www.lacoop.coop). Following his work, the extended International Liaison Commission was requested to choose the new logo of RIPESS, which you can henceforth find on all our institutional documents.
The new logo sticks to the missions and organizational patterns of RIPESS. It better denotes solidarity, equality and mutual actions. It clearly conveys the idea of network: links, branches, gathering on common grounds. The fellows represent the continents and their interdependence. Field players are linked by their heads, which shows common thought and action boosted by the upward movement of experiences from grassroots’ network members (represented by the legs). Finally, the simple and direct design and the rounded central arrow express the capacity and dynamic, as well as innovation and progress capacities of RIPESS, an ambition that is both strong and humble.
In clear terms, the logo gives an overview of the intercontinental exchange foci, innovating movement, and the promotion of a man-centered economy. It underscores the continental and national specificities while encouraging common fights and stakes that are the rallying points of RIPESS. What a communication achievement for RIPESS!
